wallspeed prefabricated walls

_

Wallspeed Prefabricated walls are categorized under Drywall class, which is currently one of the most advanced building materials. Light weight, insulation power, suitable systemic behavior, fast installation, and harmonized dynamic and static coordination with the whole structure has been extremely increased the popularity of drywalls for manufacturers and constructors. One of these popular materials is Wallspeed Prefabricated wall, which is manufactured with automatized machineries according to PLASTEDIL Co. technology under Wallspeed brand based in Iran.

Wallspeed is currently the lightest wall in the world (about 4.5 kg/m2). The core of the wall consist of E grade fire retardant polystyrene (according to standard 1207), with the density of at least 20 kg/m3. Polystyrene is injected between the punched studs and forms the main structure of the Wallspeed panels. The distance between the studs are fixed at 30 and 60 cm. Panels are attached to eachother easily through the designated tongue and groove at beginning and end of the WallSpeed core.

The central core of the partition made of expanded polystyrene with the density of at least 20 kg / m3, which is injected in between of punched galvanized studs using fully automated machineries. Punched studs provide qualified integration of injected polystyrene. The punched circles facilitate the passage of electrical and mechanical accessories in the horizontal direction of the wall. Length of Wallspeed panels are custom-size and can be produced at thickness of 8 cm up to 20 cm. Partition 8 and 10 are the most common and widely used type.

Fixings

Installation accessories are required to implement Wallspeed light panels in the building structure which are manufactured by the Wallspeed group to be accessible for employers and contractors. The accessories are divided into two categories: metal components and fittings. Metal components, hold panels like a frame, and perform the task of integrating, aligning, and balancing the walls. Metal component requires tools to be attached fully to the building structure to provide the integrated wall with safe and acceptable systemic behavior. Meeting these goals, tools and equipment such as structural screws , panel screws for gypsum and cement boards, foam insulation and nail-able plug are used.

Coatings

_

Coatings can be drywall (i.e. plaster and cement boards, PVC and thermo wood boards) and mortar (such as plaster and cement) that are installed or applied on the prefabricated wall. Wallspeed panel like other walls require initial coating, which is used for a variety of purposes, including creating smooth surface, protecting the wall from external factors, and preparing the surface for the final coating. Due to its cohesive and integrated structure, variety of coatings types including mortar and modern can be applied as final coating.

Loading

_

Wallspeed load-bearing capacity depends on the type of final coating and suitable fittings. By finding the location of the structures (Studs) within every 30 cm of the partition, loading can be applied directly to the structures . Central core of Wallspeed panel can carry all the conventional cantilever loads. If loading is not performed on the studs, braces must be applied. Fittings must be applied on Wallspeed panels according to the weight & type of loads (installation of frames, clocks, toiletries, cabinets, etc.) and final coating.

Wallspeed panel is approved by the Road, Housing & Urban Development Research Center, Fire Department, and Construction Engineering Organization. Wallspeed also has European CE certificate. The polystyrene used in Wallspeed core is E grade fire-retardant. Wallspeed panels are produced with no height limitation which makes it distinguish from other Drywall manufacturers. Due to the surface integration, a variety of coatings like mortar and dry, are easily applicable on Wallspeed. Mechanical and electrical installations is hassle-free , using a simple soldering iron is enough to make necessary tracks for facility passage. It means less waste and debris of material.

Lightweight panel is 4.5 kg / m2, its excellent thermal index of at least 2.85 Kw / m2 and sound insulation of at least 42 db is preferable to other traditional materials and even Drywalls. If the design of the structures is done from the basic considering Due to the extremely low weight of the prefabricated Wallspeed panel, we will see 7% up to 15% reduction in the weight of the structure.
